Hennie Hugo -
Hennie Hugo joined the WandsBeck team in 2016 when he took the ever important role of managing consultant. Having completed no less than 47 harvest seasons he is a great source of inspiration and leadership to the new management of the cellar.
Tinus Le Roux-
Tinus grew up in the Rawsonville and Worcester districts of the Breede river valley. In 2005 he matriculated from Goudini High School after which he studied BSc(Agric) Conservation Ecology at Stellenbosch University. It was during his years as student that his love for wine and the wine industry took hold. After graduation he decided to leave behind the world of research and
instead invested in the wine industry where he could be a jack of all trades -
Philip Smit -
Philip matriculated from Robertson High School in 2014. Since then he has worked at various cellars including Robertson Winery and Clairvaux. He joined WandsBeck in 2016 in the role of cellar technologist. He enjoys the process flow of wine making and is eager to learn about the wine industry.
Rentia van der Merwe -
Rentia was born a farm girl and grew up in Koue Bokkeveld and Citrusdal. In 2008 she matriculated from Hugenot High School in Wellington, where she also started her studies in B.Tech Taxation. After completing her articles she worked in Durbanville as a senior accountant at the same accounting firm. Rentia joined the WandsBeck team in 2017 -
